Audiences will never forget the famous line “Hereeeee’s Johnny” in the 1980 classic thriller, The Shining. Now, fans of the film are excited about the sequel, Doctor Sleep, which will hit theaters in North America on November 8, 2019. From the mind of Stephen King, the film centers around Danny Torrance, 40 years after he stayed at the Overlook Hotel as a boy.

Doctor-Sleep-Sequel-To-The-ShiningJack Nicholson fans will be sad to learn that he’s not in the cast, but not for long. Doctor Sleep stars Ewan McGregor (“Star Wars: Episodes I, II & III), as Dan Torrance; Rebecca Ferguson (the “Mission: Impossible” films and  “The Greatest Showman”) as Rose the Hat; and teenage newcomer Kyliegh Curran, as Abra.

The Warner Bros. movie is crafted by horror film director Mike Flanagan and the music score is composed by The Newton Brothers (“The Haunting of Hill House”). Be prepared to jump off your seat - yet again!
